Hi Amber. Applications are made on an individual basis, so if you both apply for a DNV will each need to apply separately and meet all eligibility conditions, including the income requirement. An alternative could be that your husband applies for the DNV, say on the long stay D visa. You then apply for a long stay visa as his spouse. See FAQ #19 in this regard.
